TRAINING

Mental Health First Aider

In 2024, Virginija completed training with MHFA England and became a certified Mental Health First Aider. This course provided knowledge and practical skills to offer first aid support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Certified Intimacy Coordinator

In 2023, Virginija was selected to participate in the exclusive program offered by the joint partnership of IPA (Intimacy Professionals Association) and Nordic Intimacy Coordinators (NIC). This specialized certification program is designed specifically for individuals residing and working in the Nordic countries. Renowned professionals Amanda Blumenthal (IPA), Malin B. Erikson (NIC), and Pia Rickman (NIC) co-teach this comprehensive training program.

Virginija’s training encompassed over 100 hours and covered a comprehensive range of topics, including boundaries and consent, gender and sexuality, mental health and communication skills, sexual harassment, bystander intervention, and work-appropriate language. I studied intimacy protocols such as script breakdowns, risk assessments, nudity riders, explicit recorded material, and closed set procedures. The training also included SAG-AFTRA and ACTRA nudity guidelines, international filmmaking standards, and the use of modesty garments, prosthetics, pubic wigs, and intimacy kits. Additional focus areas included micro-aggressions, an introduction to anti-racist theory, and the choreography and coordination of intimate scenes.
